Why are they good for the heart and the mind?
At Mintikkis farm, we care about you and the health of your family. We share your need to eat correctly by being the first to offer you the new DHA Omega 3 eggs!

What are Omega 3 fatty acids?
Most of us know simply that Omega 3 fatty acids benefit our health, contribute in our physical and mental wellness and should be added in our nutrition, as the human body cannot produce them alone. What we may not know, is that not all Omega 3 are the same. There are three types of Omega 3: ALA ( a-linoleic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid, and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)
Why are DHA Omega 3 different from the rest?
DHA Omega 3 fatty acids are important for their benefits to health. They are mainly found in sea algae and fatty fish (e.g. tuna, salmon, mackerel etc.).

Strict scientific studies have proved the value and important benefits of DHA fatty acids to humans. The EU recognises and certifies that DHA Omega 3 contribute in the proper functioning of the heart, the smooth functioning of the brain, the maintenance of good vision as well as the development of infantile vision. The above nutritional claims are published in the European website “Health and Consumers” and consumers may visit the website for further information.
The new Mintikkis eggs are so beneficial because they are a “natural source” of DHA Omega 3 fatty acids, thanks to the way of feeding of the hens laying them. In other words, they are produced by hens that are only fed with natural feeding stuffs containing algae, which develop in a strictly regulated environment and are a source of nutritional DHA Omega 3 fatty acids. Therefore, when they are produced, they are already rich in DHA Omega 3!

In particular, 100g of egg contain at least 140 mg DHA and 400 mg Omega 3, in other words more than 50% of the daily requirements of the human body, a quantity required to enjoy the full benefits of DHA properties.
As good health is valuable, we at Mintikkis farm, are proud to offer you the new DHA Omega 3 eggs, so that the whole family can enjoy their rich benefits daily!

100 g of egg contain at least 140 mg of DHA and 400 mg Omega 3.
